The EU-funded project showed the interconnectedness in Europe. Impulses became clear in the history of European states in politics, music, art, architecture and science. With many guests from Poland, France and England, the citizens of Selm experienced similarities but also differences in cultural development. In workshops and lectures, solutions for current issues - such as climate and environmental protection - were sought. A large number of citizens participated in the town festival and new friendships and partnerships were able to develop.
